What I want to say when I hear a company representative say "We support our veterans, but this candidate does not have any real-world experience".Attention all veterans seeking a career!Military service is a real-world experience! It requires whole-person commitment, not just a 9-5 job. If a company can't see that, then it's not built to develop its people, but to exploit their experience.Instead, look for companies that value you as a whole person, not just the pieces they can use.
